Lihong Wang

Lihong Wang is the Bren Professor of Medical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, Andrew and Peggy Cherng Medical Engineering Leadership Chair, and Executive Officer for Medical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology's Electrical Engineering department. His research focuses on biomedical imaging, particularly photoacoustic imaging, which enables noninvasive exploration of biological tissues with significantly enhanced penetration compared to conventional optical microscopy.
