Azita Emami is the Andrew and Peggy Cherng Professor of Electrical Engineering and Medical Engineering and Director of the Center for Sensing to Intelligence at the California Institute of Technology. She holds a B.S. from Sharif University of Technology, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. She has been an Assistant Professor at Caltech since 2007, advancing to Professor in 2013 and Cherng Professor in 2017. Her research focuses on designing and developing high-performance, reliable, low-power mixed-mode circuits in scalable technologies with applications in digital data communication, biomedical implants, and more. She also serves as Executive Officer and Director of the Center for Sensing to Intelligence.
