Xi Zhang

Prof. Dr. Xi Zhang is a Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He received his B.S. degree (1986) and Ph.D. (1992) in the Department of Chemistry, Jilin University. He worked as a joint-training Ph.D. student with Prof. Helmut Ringsdorf, University of Mainz, Germany, between 1991 and 1992. He became a full professor at Jilin University in 1994 and joined Tsinghua University in 2003. His research interests focus on combining polymer chemistry with supramolecular chemistry to develop molecular engineering of functional supramolecular systems. He has published extensively in leading scientific journals, including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., and Sci. Adv.
