Regular biography
Sichun Zhang is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He earned his B.S. (1990) and M.S. (1996) in Chemistry from Shaanxi Normal University, China, and Ph.D. (2000) from Northwest University, China. After postdoctoral training at Nanjing University (2000-2002) and Tsinghua University (2002-2004), he joined Tsinghua University and was promoted to professor in 2004. His research focuses on developing single cell analysis methods using mass spectrometry. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Zhang teaches Analytical Chemistry (undergraduate) and The Methods and Experiments of Modern Instrumental Analysis (graduate).
