Shuo Tong

Shuo Tong is a Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. She was born in Jilin, China, in March 1984. She obtained her BSc in chemistry in 2007 from Jilin University and her PhD in 2013 from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision of Professor Mei-Xiang Wang. After a postdoctoral stay at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, she joined Tsinghua University as a Tenure-track principle investigator in 2018. Her research interests include catalytic enantioselective transformations, multicomponent reactions, macrocyclic and supramolecular chemistry. Her group focuses on developing chiral supramolecular systems using inherently chiral macrocyclic compounds.
