Hai Xiao

Hai Xiao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Tsinghua University, followed by a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Prior to joining Tsinghua University in 2018, he served as a Research Scientist at Caltech and held postdoctoral and research scientist positions there. His research interests include theoretical and computational chemistry, theories of heterogeneous catalysis, catalysis at electrochemical interfaces, and data-driven emergence and formulation of chemical theories.
