Regular biography
ZHAO Hongrui is a Faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include quantitative remote sensing, remote sensing and GIS applications, and 3S integration. He has contributed to various research projects and publications in fields such as geodesy, remote sensing principles, and geospatial technologies. Zhao has held academic and administrative roles within the university, including Deputy Director of the Institute of Geomatics and Director of the 3S center. His work has been recognized through awards such as the Tsinghua outstanding class teacher award in 2009 and the Universities GIS Innovator Award in 2014.
