Regular biography
DING Ran is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include high-performance new material structures, composite structures, structural intelligent and multi-field coupling analysis. He has contributed to the development of nonlinear constitutive models and computing elements for materials such as ECC and UHPC, as well as new structures like steel plate concrete composite structures. DING has been involved in several research projects, including studies on UHPC precast structures and integrated material-structure intelligent design for new generation concrete. His academic work has been published in journals such as Journal of Structural Engineering and Engineering Structures.
