YUAN Si

YUAN Si is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include super-convergent computation and adaptive analysis of FEM and FEMOL, finite element method of lines, exact methods for vibration and buckling problems, and the development of engineering and teaching software. He has authored several textbooks and software tools, including 'Programming Structural Mechanics' and 'Structural Mechanics Solver v2.6'. Yuan has held various leadership roles at Tsinghua University, including Dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Vice President and Provost. He is also a member of several academic societies and editorial boards.
