Regular biography
WU Jianping is a Professor and Director of the Tsinghua University-Cambridge University-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Future Transport Research Centre at Tsinghua University's Department of Civil Engineering. His research interests include travel behavior, traffic modeling, traffic simulation, big data, smart cities, and future transportation systems. He has led numerous research projects, including State 863 projects and National Science and Technology Plan initiatives, focusing on urban traffic management, smart city technologies, and transportation safety. He has also contributed to academic publications and has held various leadership roles in professional organizations.
