Regular biography
WANG Yuanqing is a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include brittle fracture of steel structures and welded connections, performance of point-supported glass building, design and application of light weight steel structures, seismic behavior of spatial steel structures and high-rise steel structures, fatigue performance and damage analysis of steel structures, assessment and reinforcement of steel structures, bearing performance of steel bridges and their joints, analysis of progressive collapse of steel structures, steel-concrete composite structures, and aluminum alloy and stainless steel structures. He has published several academic papers in reputable journals.
