Regular biography
SONG Erxiang is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include numerical methods in geomechanics, design and analysis methods for deep excavation support, analysis of static and dynamic soil-structure interaction, ground treatment and bearing characteristics analysis, and THM coupling analysis in geotechnical engineering. He has been a Full Professor at Tsinghua University since 1999 and has contributed to various research projects, including analysis of deep excavation support and multi-field coupled analysis models for water-heat transfer in road foundations. His academic achievements include numerous publications in geotechnical engineering journals and awards for scientific contributions.
