SHI Yongjiu

SHI Yongjiu is a Faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include steel and composite structures, large span and high-rise buildings, and seismic behavior of steel structures. He has led several research projects, including studies on fire-resistant and weathering steel structures, nonlinear local buckling of stainless steel structures, and damage and deterioration of tall steel buildings under severe earthquakes. SHI has also contributed to numerous academic publications in journals such as Journal of Constructional Steel Research and Engineering Structures. He is an active member of professional societies and serves on editorial boards for international journals.
