Regular biography
SHI Jing is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Doctor of Science in Engineering from Nagoya University. Her research interests include road engineering, transportation planning, traffic safety, and intelligent transportation systems. She has led several research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, focusing on road risk quantification, traffic safety, and sustainable transportation planning. SHI has also contributed to teaching and professional service, including roles in academic committees and editorial boards.
