Regular biography
MA Zhiliang is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include IT in construction management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), collaborative systems for construction, and intelligent construction. He has received several awards for his contributions to the informatization of the construction industry, including the Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award and the Award for Outstanding Contribution on Informatization of Engineering Construction Industry. MA has also been involved in numerous research projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is a member of several professional committees and editorial boards related to construction informatization and BIM.
