Regular biography
LIU Yufei is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests include the perception, detection, evaluation, and prediction of engineering structural behavior, with a focus on intelligent detection and assessment of buildings and infrastructure, structural health monitoring of spatial structures and bridges, and temperature effects on engineering structures. He has led several National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and has published extensively in leading journals. Liu is also involved in professional services such as the Engineering Structure Laboratory and has contributed to academic advancements through his work on structural damage detection and health monitoring.
