Steven Low is the Frank J. Gilloon Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and Electrical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology, and Director of the Schmidt Academy for Software Engineering. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University, 1987; M.S. from the University of California, 1989; and Ph.D., 1992. His research interests include power systems, cyber-physical systems, network architecture, and energy-efficient networking. He has held various academic positions at Caltech, including Associate Professor (2000–06), Professor (2006–18), and Gilloon Professor (2018–).
