Georgia Gkioxari is an Assistant Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and Electrical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology, and holds the title of William H. Hurt Scholar. She received her Diplom from the National Technical University of Athens in 2010 and her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. Prior to her current position, she served as a Visiting Associate in 2022 and became an Assistant Professor in 2023. Her research interests include deep learning and generative AI, and she teaches courses such as EE/CNS/CS 148 ab – Deep Learning.
