Yaser S. Abu-Mostafa is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the California Institute of Technology, affiliated with the Division of Engineering and Applied Science. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), with a focus on medical applications. He has worked on several projects, including the development of non-invasive ultrasound technology to measure arterial blood pressure, AI-based detection of Congestive Heart Failure, and the detection of mini clots in the bloodstream.
