Phillip Colella is a Professor in Residence Emeritus in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He is affiliated with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he can be contacted at pcolella@lbl.gov. His research interests include computational methods for scientific applications, and he has been recognized as a Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Fellow since 2009 and a National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Member since 2004.
