Brian A. Barsky

Brian A. Barsky is Professor Emeritus and Professor in the Graduate School at the University of California, Berkeley, with affiliations in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS), Optometry, Vision Science, Bioengineering, Berkeley Institute of Design (BID), Berkeley Center for New Media (BCNM), Arts Research Center (ARC), and Berkeley Canadian Studies Program. His research interests include Graphics, Biosystems & Computational Biology, Human-Computer Interaction, and Signal Processing. He has contributed to computational aesthetics, computational photography, and methods for the design and fabrication of contact lenses, as well as computer methods for optometry and ophthalmology. Barsky has developed vision-correcting displays and has been recognized as an ACM Distinguished Speaker and a UC Berkeley Presidential Chair Fellow.
