Professor Tae-Hyuk Kwon is a faculty member in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at KAIST. His research focuses on the GeoEnergy Laboratory, where he investigates energy and environmental applications involving natural particulate and porous materials. His work addresses challenges related to climate change and energy demand through studies on gas production from hydrate-bearing sediments, geologic carbon storage, microbial enhanced oil recovery, and geophysical characterization techniques.
