Cha, Seung Hyun Prof. is an Adjunct/Research Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CE) at KAIST. His research focuses on Architecture, specifically Future Cities, Virtual Architecture and Design, and Data-driven Design. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, an M.S. from Stanford University, and a BEng from Korea University. Prof. Cha has held academic positions at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) as an Associate Professor since 2021, Hanyang University as an Assistant Professor from 2018 to 2021, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor from 2015 to 2018. He has received the Young Researcher Award in 2020 and 2021 from Hanyang University.
