Boo, Chanhee

Boo, Chanhee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CE) at KAIST. His research focuses on environmental nano-materials, membrane separation, ultra-pure-water production, desalination, and resource recovery. He leads the Advanced Environmental Materials (AEM) laboratory, which develops innovative water treatment and resource recovery technologies using nano-scale materials. Boo holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Yale University and previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University and a Senior Researcher at KIST. His work targets sustainable environmental systems through efficient water treatment and resource recovery.
