Yves Perriard

Yves Perriard is an Adjunct Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Integrated Actuators Laboratory (LAI) in the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE). His research focuses on electric drives, linear transducers, and complex system optimization, with applications in medical devices and transportation. He has held leadership roles at EPFL, including director of the Laboratory of Integrated Actuators and Vice-Director of the Microengineering Institute. Perriard has contributed to numerous patents and has been involved in international collaborations and academic activities, including guest professorships at Zhejiang University and editorial roles in IEEE journals.
