Anja Skrivervik

Anja Skrivervik is a Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Department of Electrical Engineering (EE). Her research is associated with the SCI STI AS Group. She teaches courses such as Analog Circuits for Biochip EE-518, Introduction to Analog CMOS Design for Remote Biosensors, and Microwave Basics. She also offers courses on antennas and wireless communications. Her work involves the design and understanding of wireless biosensor systems and antenna technologies. She supervises PhD students and has directed theses of several EPFL doctoral candidates.

Anja K. Skrivervik is a Professor of Electromagnetism and Antennas at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Her research focuses on antennas and microwave sensors, with a particular emphasis on implantable wireless communication systems, biomedical telemetry, and compact antenna design. She has published extensively on topics such as miniature antenna design, UWB antennas, and the performance of implanted antennas. Her work also explores the use of metamaterials and MEMS-based reflectarrays for reconfigurable antenna systems. Additionally, she has contributed to the development of high-performance microwave cavities for rubidium frequency standards. Her research addresses challenges in miniaturization, efficiency, and performance in both medical and communication applications.
