Regular biography
Alexandre Schmid is a Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the EE department. His research group focuses on biomedical and neuromorphic microelectronic systems. He teaches courses such as Analog Circuits for Biochip, Bioelectronics and Biomedical Microelectronics, Digital IC Design, Microcontrollers, and Systems Logic. He has supervised and co-supervised multiple PhD theses at EPFL. His work involves the design and development of biochip systems, including remote bio-sensors and implantable systems.
