Regular biography
Danick Briand is a Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE). He leads the Soft Transducers Lab and is involved in teaching courses such as Advanced MEMS & Microsystems, MICRO-534, and Organic and Printed Electronics, MICRO-505. His research focuses on microsystems and soft transducers, with a particular emphasis on MEMS and microsystem design. He has supervised several PhD theses at EPFL and is engaged in both teaching and research activities within the EPFL community.
