YAO Yi

YAO Yi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Peking University. His research focuses on risk management, microinsurance, and health insurance. He has published extensively in both English and Chinese, including works on the development of health insurance markets and adverse selection in insurance. His academic career includes positions at Peking University and the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he served as a Teaching Assistant. He has received several awards for his teaching and research, including the 2017 Outstanding Research Award and the 2015 Outstanding Teacher in Finance Award.
