Regular biography
CHEN Yi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Economy and Trade at Peking University. Their research interests include international economics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, and time series analysis. CHEN teaches Intermediate Microeconomics and has published works on topics such as long-run news and international macroeconomic puzzles, the equity home bias puzzle, and exchange rate disconnect puzzles. Their current research projects include studies on current accounts, asset prices, and monetary policy. CHEN holds a BA in Economics from Wuhan University, an MA from Peking University, and a PhD from the University of California, Davis.
