Regular biography
SU Jian is a professor in the Department of Economics at Peking University. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Shaanxi University of Technology, a Master of Economics from Peking University, and a Ph.D. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University. SU has been associated with the School of Economics since 1995, serving as an assistant professor until 2000, and has held the position of Associate Director of the Department of Economics since 2004. His research interests include macroeconomics and China's economy. He teaches courses such as Advanced Macroeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Money and Banking.
