SHI Ju

SHI Ju is an Associate Professor in the School of Economics at Peking University. Her research focuses on health care payment systems, health insurance coverage, drug regulations, and medical expenditure trends. Dr. Shi's work has contributed to China's payment system reform and includes studies on the impact of health insurance on medical utilization and government regulations on prescription drugs. She has published in leading journals such as the Journal of Public Economics and Health Economics. Dr. Shi holds a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University and an M.A. and B.A. in economics from Tsinghua University. Before joining Peking University, she was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School.
