Margaret M. McConnell is a Lecturer in Management at Yale University's School of Management. Her research focuses on Financial Crises. She is also a Senior Vice President and Head of the Applied Critical Thinking Function in the Executive Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Prior to this role, she served as Director of the FRBNY’s Office of Financial Stability and Regulatory Policy and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy to the President of FRBNY. She joined the FRBNY in 1996 as an Economist and has held various roles there. McConnell holds a Ph.D. in economics from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in economics from the University of Delaware.
