A. J. Wasserstein is the Eugene F. Williams, Jr., Senior Lecturer in the Practice of Management at the Yale School of Management. His research and teaching focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, and private equity, with an emphasis on search funds, programmatic acquisitions, and small businesses. He has authored over 100 cases and notes on these topics. Wasserstein has also been a private investor in lower middle-market businesses and philanthropic organizations. He previously served as the founder and CEO of ArchivesOne, which was acquired by Iron Mountain, and as president of Onesource Water, sold to Water Logic. He has received the Faculty Teaching Excellence Award for outstanding teaching at Yale SOM in 2022, 2024, and 2026.
