Richard Kauffman is a Lecturer in the Practice of Management at Yale School of Management. He is also Chief Executive Officer of the Coalition for Green Capital, the nation’s largest green bank. Kauffman has held leadership roles at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Good Energies, Inc., and has served as Chair of the New York State Energy and Finance Department. He was instrumental in the creation of the NY Green Bank and the Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) initiative. He has also advised the U.S. Department of Energy and served on various boards and advisory groups. Kauffman has taught renewable energy finance at Yale.
