Jon Iwata

Jon Iwata is a Lecturer in the Practice of Management at Yale School of Management. He is also Executive Director of the Yale Program on Stakeholder Innovation and Management. With a career spanning over 35 years at IBM, Iwata held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Vice President, Chief Brand Officer, and leader of the company's global marketing, communications, and corporate citizenship organization. He is Executive Chairman of the Data & Trusted AI Alliance and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Iwata holds a B.A. from San Jose State University and is co-inventor of a U.S. patent for a nanotechnology and process for atomic-scale semiconductors.
