Asha Ghosh

Asha Ghosh is a lecturer in the Practice of Management at the Yale School of Management, currently teaching Global Social Entrepreneurship in India. Her research interests include poverty alleviation, urban politics and policy, and community engagement in Asia. From 2019-2024, she was the Urban Program Manager at YSE, developing programs and opportunities to expand and support the curriculum related to cities and urbanization. Prior to joining Yale, she worked in international development with a focus on decentralization and local governance in Asia. She holds a Masters in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
