Lauren Caplan is a Lecturer in Management at Yale School of Management. She brings over two decades of experience in cross-sector solutions to pressing challenges, having advised organizations such as endowments, foundations, and private investment funds. Caplan is the Managing Director & Head of Democracy-Aligned Investing at the Leadership Now Project. Previously, she served as Associate General Counsel in the Yale Investments Office and worked at Commonfund, where she integrated ESG into investment processes. She writes and speaks on responsible investing, corporate social responsibility, and regulation in asset management. Caplan holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and an AB from Harvard College.
