Edward A. Snyder

Edward A. Snyder is the William S. Beinecke Professor of Economics and Management at the Yale School of Management. His research and teaching focus on industrial organization, antitrust economics, law and economics, and financial institutions. He teaches Economic Analysis of High-Tech Industries and contributes to Stakeholders and Capitalism. Snyder served as dean from 2011 to 2019, during which the school expanded its global network and introduced new degree programs. He also held academic and professional roles at the University of Chicago and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.
