Mary Elise Sarotte

Mary Elise Sarotte is a Professor of Global Affairs and Management at Yale University, jointly appointed in the Yale School of Management. She holds a joint appointment in the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. Professor Sarotte has held tenured faculty appointments at the University of Cambridge, the University of Southern California, and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies or SAIS, where she was the inaugural holder of the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Distinguished Professorship of Historical Studies. Her research focuses on historical studies, with publications including several books published by Yale University Press, Basic Books, Princeton University Press, and The University of North Carolina Press.
