David M. Munguia Gomez

David M. Munguia Gomez is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Yale University’s School of Management. His research explores decisions about allocating rewards and opportunities, such as college admission and employment, with a focus on ethical tensions related to applicants’ merit and circumstances. He examines the inferences people make about applicants based on their (dis)advantageous circumstances and employs methods including lab experiments, field surveys, and interviews. Munguia Gomez holds a PhD in behavioral science from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and an AB in Psychology from Princeton University.
