Lesley Meng

Lesley Meng is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Yale School of Management. Her research focuses on analytics, big data, decision-making, healthcare, operations, public health, service operations, econometrics, and public and social operations. Professor Meng's work utilizes large-scale datasets to examine the impact of management decisions on healthcare worker behavior and patient care effectiveness. She combines her background in medical science, public health, and operations management with expertise in econometrics and causal inference. Her academic journey includes an Honors Specialization in Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario, an Honors in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Operations, Information, & Decisions from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
