Heidi Brooks

Heidi Brooks is a Senior Lecturer in Organizational Behavior at Yale School of Management, where she teaches and advises on everyday leadership. Her research focuses on Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Workplace Issues, emphasizing leadership as a social practice enacted through interactions and decisions. Brooks directs Yale SOM’s Program for the Practice of Everyday Leadership and has taught the MBA elective Interpersonal and Group Dynamics for over 20 years. She hosts the Yale School of Management podcast Learning Through Experience, which explores how leaders turn insight into practice. Brooks also writes for Forbes.com on leadership and workplace dynamics. She holds a doctorate in psychology from University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
