Yuval Tamir is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include parallel and distributed systems, fault-tolerant computing, multicore architectures, virtualization, cluster computing, interconnection networks, and reliable network services. He teaches courses such as CS151B - Computer Systems Architecture, CS251A - Advanced Computer Architecture, CS251B - Parallel Computer Architectures, and CS256A - Advanced Scalable Architectures: Systems, Building Blocks, and Technology.
