Omid Abari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include Internet-of-Things (IoT), Wireless Networks, Mobile Systems, Software-Hardware Systems, and Human-computer interaction (HCI). Abari holds a PhD and MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BEng from Carleton University. He was awarded the NSF CAREER Award in 2023.
