Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jürgen Richter-Gebert is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Technical University of Munich. His research focuses on the intersection of mathematics and computer science, particularly in making mathematical structures accessible through computerized interactive visualizations. His work spans mathematical foundations, authoring systems, and the development of mathematical visualizations for educational and public applications. He is affiliated with the Chair of Geometry and Visualization at TUM. His research group collaborates with international partners, and his projects include the development of software tools such as Cinderella, iOrnament, and ALICE. He is also involved in educational initiatives like mathe-vital and Lehrvideos.
