John Shields is Professor of Human Resource Management and Organisational Studies in the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies within the Business School at The University of Sydney. His research interests include human resources management, leadership, strategy, management, and organisational behaviour. He has held various leadership roles within the Business School, including Associate Dean Programs, and has contributed to academic governance at both university and external levels. John is also a member of the Council of Sancta Sophia College at The University of Sydney.
