Regular biography
Dr Alison Wong is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Business Analytics at the University of Sydney Business School. She specialises in teaching Python programming, mathematics, data science, and machine learning. Her research interests include astronomical instrumentation, neural networks, photonics, optoelectronics, optical communications, and astronomical sciences. Dr Wong holds an honorary role in the School of Physics, where she collaborates with scientists and applies her expertise in data analytics and machine learning to optics and astronomy research. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
