Regular biography
Ali Yaseen is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Business Analytics at the University of Sydney Business School, where he leads industry engagement for Business Analytics and coordinates QBUS3600: Business Analytics in Practice. With a career spanning over a decade across enterprise payments, product management, and analytics, Ali bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world application. He currently serves at Stripe as part of the Enterprise ANZ team, partnering with large organisations to optimise payments and data strategies. Previously, Ali held leadership roles at Via and A2B Australia, where he launched innovative payment products, managed large national teams, and delivered solutions for government and industry clients. Ali is Chair of the External Engagement Committee in Business Analytics and a former President of the Business Alumni Network. He holds an MBA from AGSM at UNSW and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Quantitative Business Analysis from the University of Sydney.
