Edward Groth

Edward Groth is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Physics at Princeton University. His research focuses on Cosmology Experiment & Observation, with a particular emphasis on the Hubble Space Telescope. Groth has been involved in various observations, including planetary studies, star-forming regions, and distant galaxies. He has worked as deputy principal investigator of the HST Wide Field and Planetary Camera team. His current research involves collaboration with graduate students Rick Balsano and Jason Rhodes on a deep survey with the HST, which is expected to contribute to understanding galaxy and large-scale structure formation at redshifts z=0.5 to 1.5.
